MSD: Waving goodbye to another top administrator

MANCHESTER, NH February 19, 2022–Girard at Large has learned that Sherri Nichols, the Manchester School District’s Executive Director for Teaching and Learning, will soon be leaving. According to a news article published yesterday and forwarded to Girard at Large, Nichols is set to become the superintendent of schools in Springfield, VT. Sources say Nichols, who was originally hired by former Superintendent Dr. Bolgen Vargas in early 2018, started looking for new positions in January, shortly after the board refused to extend then Superintendent Dr. John Goldhardt’s contract.
