Budget Threat: Employee Union Contracts and the Tax Cap

(Hour 2c) After sharing news about whether or not Mayor Ted Gatsas will be running for reelection, Rich discussed the City budget.  He talked about the firefighter’s contract and pointed out budget challenges that would be produced should they receive the same deal that the Police Union negotiated.  “Is a tax cap override inevitable here,” he wondered and he speculated about where the votes will fall.  Finally, he shared about the fallback in remaining with the status quo and also about conflict of interests within the issue.  Tune in to get all of the details!
