(Hours 1a,b,c) Rich started the show by talking about a technical issue which lead to a shorter-than-usual news read. He then pointed out his opinion about the biggest deficiency in the opioid epidemic. He reminded his listeners that it’s Good Friday and he spoke about the impact of religion on the world. (Hour 1c) Rich started the hour’s final segment by playing “If I Were the Devil” by Paul Harvey in 1965. He discussed the opioid epidemic, pointing out that the treatment of symptoms is more prevalent than the treatment of the problem. He then spoke about the challenges that some face and shared the experience of #1 Fan Christopher Duffley.
