Rich spoke to James Patrick Riley of Courage, New Hampshire for The History Segment. He started by sharing The Dutiful Child’s Promises from The New England Primer. He then read a list of sins and virtues from a colonial journal and a letter from an eleven year old John Quincy Adams. Finally, they talked about the differences between school curriculums over time and pondered over shared values.
