In lieu of Aurore Eaton being here, Rich continued his story time series with a reading of ‘A River Ran Wild’ by Lynne Cherry. He talked about how it promotes an anti-industrial point of view, and how it skews what really happened with the colonization of the New World. To wrap up the segment, Jon called in to point out how technology and industrialization have made life better, and increased the standard of living, despite some of the environmental problems early industrialization had.
