With so may avenues to explore when discussing Competency-Based education, Fred Bramante returned for further discussions on the teaching-learning approach that he believes will eventually be in all schools — definitely in the Manchester schools. Today’s discussion centered around the notion of personalization, its definition and how it is employed within the program as well as how teachers are prepared to teach in such a program. Introductory exchanges were made with regard to how students were assessed while participating in a Competency-Based program. Many questions remain to be answered.
