Rich and Ed Naile spoke about Mayor Ted Gatsas’ budget presentation from last night. “He took direct aim at the MEA contract, and he should,” Rich said. He talked about the tax cap and focused on the schools. We took a call from Michael in Manchester, who shared some statistics with us.

(Hour 2a) We continued in our discussion about the Mayor’s budget presentation. Rich spoke about the money going towards teachers, adjustment to line items and money taken away from the city side of the budget. We heard about the elimination of a revenue shortfall and the reputation of the Manchester School District.
