Rich spoke to us about the budget and the tax cap. He talked about a six million dollar hole and the impact of the pay raises from the teacher contracts. He reminded us about predictions that he made from the past and took a call from Michael in Manchester. We heard about the projected savings and ideas to offset the problems that come with smaller classroom sizes.

(Hour 2b) Rich spoke about confusion due to comments made by Mayor Gatsas concerning a 6% increase. We heard about the cost of an increased debt service and a special education outplacement tuition. He wondered if we are going to have to start making use of technology and commented on federal aid.
