Brasley: In custody
Last week, we told you the Bedford Police Department was looking for Stacy Brasley of Manchester in conjunction with the January nineteenth robbery of the T D Bank Branch on South River Road in Bedford. Well, on Thursday, Brasley was arrested by police in Manchester at around 9:30 p.m. Bedford’s investigation had zeroed in on her as the suspect. She is being held on ten thousand dollars cash or surety bail in the Valley Street Jail until a probable cause hearing on March first. Ever cordial, Bedford Police Chief John Bryfonski thanked the Manchester Police Department for their assistance with this case.
Karsi: Charged with attempted murder
The 61 Market store on 61 Maple Street in Manchester was robbed yesterday morning at about eight thirty when a man attacked the twenty-two year old clerk and fled with cash. The assailant struck the clerk numerous times with a baseball bat. The clerk sustained head and facial injuries and had to be transported to the Elliot Hospital where he was treated for a laceration to the chin and multiple contusions. Luckily, the victim was able to press the panic alarm and alert police to the scene. Officer Brandreth arrived as the suspect was leaving the store. The officer followed the man and apprehended him with the help of his K-9, partner Colt. The suspect, twenty two year old Gedeon Karasi, does not have a fixed address. He was treated at a local hospital for a dog bite. Karasi is being charged with Attempted Murder, First Degree Assault, and Robbery.
And there it was, gone!
A massive fire leveled the building that was once home to Jutras Signs and Ben Franklin Printing at seven eleven Mast Road here in scenic Pinardville. Investigators do not yet know what caused the blaze, which fully engulfed the twenty three thousand square foot, one hundred sixteen year old, vacant building sending rampaging flames and thick black smoke that could be seen for miles into the air. What was left after crews from nearly a dozen communities extinguished the flames after battling the blaze for hours was demolished by the Goffstown Fire Department. Mast Road was shut down on either side of the blaze. Thanks to the quick work of firefighters who spotted a fire starting on the roof of a nearby home about a block away, damage to other structures was limited to smoke and heat damage to the neighboring North Garden Restaurant, which was evacuated and as siding melted off the building. Start up challenge launched
The N H Startup Challenge 2 0 1 6 begins at 5: 30 this Wednesday evening at Alpha Loft’s offices at 8 4 4 Elm Street in Manchester. The event is designed to help entrepreneurs get started on launching their ideas into business. Participants will quote “learn about the competition, receive helpful tips from past winners, hear how you can become the next winner of a prize package of cash and in-kind services and network with business leaders, inventors and entrepreneurs.” Created in 2 0 0 8, the Manchester Young Professional Network New Hampshire Startup Challenge is a statewide business plan competition that promotes the start up of new businesses by entrepreneurs and innovators. Candia Police: Dodging data?
Controversy breaking in Candia this morning as the Candia Police Department released crime stats for a two month period of time. Normally, the crime riddled community gives monthly updates on its arrests and the like. However, for reasons unknown to the public, Candia’s crime report went AWOL in January. Are they trying to dodge the data? We don’t know. However, in their latest report, which was sent late last week, they divulged they issued two hundred ten motor vehicle warnings and seven motor vehicle summonses. They also arrested a dozen folks on charges ranging from driving after suspension, to simple assault, to drug possession, D W I, criminal mischief, a nuisance dog and driving on unsafe tires. We will do our best to ensure that Candia’s cops aren’t hiding the truth of the town’s infamous Crime Wave from its people. Be assured of that! (Memo to those of you who don’t have a sense of humor, this post is obviously tongue and cheek. Candia doesn’t have a crime problem, which is why we have fun at its expense.)
