In the absence of a guest for the opening of Veterans In Our Own Backyard Rich used the opportunity to discuss veteran issues anyway. He spoke about some of the problems that veterans deal with and wondered about the change that has taken place within the country concerning the military. We were then joined by Suzanne Cuddy, who was a nurse in the Navy. She told us about her experience during Dessert Storm. She then talked to us about her Post here in Manchester, and shared about the importance of camaraderie within the ranks of veterans. To end the segment she told us about their upcoming Meat Raffle.
