The Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce’s New Hampshire Primary Series will continue at 9am, Tuesday, Jan. 5, with a meetandgreet event with Gov. Jeb Bush, RFlorida, in the function room at The Halligan Tavern, 32 West Broadway, in downtown Derry.
Sponsored by the Law Office of Parnell, Michels & McKay, the nonpartisan New Hampshire Primary series gives members of the local business community the opportunity to meet, hear from, and share their concerns with Presidential candidates of both political parties.
While the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce is a nonpartisan organization that does not endorse or otherwise support candidates for any public office, the nonprofit business advocacy group does strive to connect its member businesses with policy makers on the local, state, and federal levels, Chamber president Will Stewart said.
“We in New Hampshire take our responsibility to vet the Presidential candidates very seriously, and the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce is excited to provide this opportunity for our members to both learn about, and perhaps help shape the platforms of, those vying to be President,” said Stewart.
The New Hampshire Primary Series is organized by the Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee, which serves as the organization’s policyrecommending body and helps the business community forge stronger relationships with policy makers.
New Hampshire Primary Series events are free and open to the public. To register, visit gdlchamber.org.
