Eva Castillo-Turgeon
Eva Castillo-Turgeon joined us this morning for the Ins and Outs of Immigration and walked us through the process of becoming a US citizen. She explained to our listeners that the process of achieving citizenship is lengthy, with a number of steps required. After a three year period of legal residence (Green card) the prospective citizen can apply for full citizenship. They then must be prepared to provide tax returns, pass a background check, and be fingerprinted.
