(Hour 2a)
The Manchester Board of Alderman field their first complaints regarding the new LED street recently installed in parts of the Queen City.
We then pivoted to the subject of a study of pedestrian and bicycle traffic in the city, and the collection and processing of the required data for the Federal program. Will this additional workload cause other projects to suffer?
We also learned that of the $310,000 spent by the city for bike lanes, $154,000 of that amount was used for the widening of Mammoth Road at Bodwell to the city limit.
Was the expense brought up as a budget item? Is it time for a more serious debate regarding street projects, and should it include more details of the costs?
