Retired Major Daniel Beliveau, commander of the Manchester Veterans Council, joined us for our Veterans In Our Own Backyard segment this morning. In this segment he described the month of work and planning that does into producing the Veteran’s Day Parade, to be held on Memorial Day.
Dan, and his adjutant Sam Coldwell, typically begin three to four months prior, to assemble and coordinate the thirty or so units that will be represented this year.
Included in this archive is the approximate length of the parade and a description of some of the speakers that will be there, including Sen. Kelly Ayotte and Mayor Ted Gatsas.
