Assistant Chief of Police, in Manchester, Nick Willard joined us to discuss the growing problem of discarded hypodermic needles, found in a local little league ball field.
Assistant Chief Willard explains that the police department is responding by investigating, and identifying properties in the area which are known to be used for drug activity. He also offers advice on the safe handling and disposal of drug paraphernalia.
How does Manchester fare compared to other communities, as far as crime goes?
Rich cites recent violence in Bedford, and the horrific attack on the Cotes‘ home in Mont Vernon. We want to get the local community involved to help solve these important issues.
The segment then explored the need for more owner/occupied affordable housing in our area. Who is building new housing, and are they doing an acceptable job?
