Manchester, NH – Manchester native and former Charter Commissioner Nick Pappas released the following statement in regards to the 2015 municipal races:
“After long consideration and discussion with my family, my friends, and neighbors, I am excited to announce my candidacy for Manchester Alderman in Ward 6.”
“This city has given so much to me and my family. Now, it’s time for me to give back. In recent years, taxpayers have seen a disconnect between them and the officials they elect to represent them. High drug use and the crime that comes from it has invaded the city, and we need to tackle this issue before it gets worse. Meanwhile, continuous budgeting issues, failing roads, and constituent issues in general concern Ward 6 residents. They deserve an alderman that will stay in constant contact with them, and has seen the problems of the city for himself.”
“During this campaign, I look forward to meeting my neighbors and actually listen to them. They don’t want grandstanders, they don’t want to come second to special interests, but they do want a strong voice for them at City Hall.”
“Finally, I am grateful to already have some Ward 6 leaders supporting my campaign. This includes State Rep. Will Infantine:
“I am fully supporting Nick Pappas for Alderman of Ward 6. Having worked with Mr. Pappas on the Charter Commission, I have full confidence that he will bring fresh ideas to City Hall and will be a great representative for Ward 6.”
Additional key endorsements supporting Nick Pappas’ candidacy include:

· State Representative Larry Gagne
