(Hour 2c) Manchester Public Health Director Tim Soucy came in to “raise our blood pressure” by talking about the NH Health Protection Plan a.k.a. expanded Medicaid. That sparked a fiery debate about whether the problem in health care was being fixed or whether or not the state’s hospitals were gaming the taxpayer to pad their bottom lines. The hospitals claimed they’ve been seeing fewer uninsured patients. So, how do we pay for this when the feds cut the funds? Riveting Radio just hit your ears! Oh My HEAD! (Oh, and Tim was running a little late this morning, so we had a little more time to talk Uber before he arrived!)
