Spring is coming and people are thinking about painting the exterior of their houses, especially after such a harsh winter. Given that, Ron Peik of Alpine Environmental warned us that lead paint hazards lurk in our exterior surfaces and cause more poisoning than the stuff inside. He educated us on what to look for and how to handle it before your home, business or loved ones get contaminated. Even experienced painters are victims of their own handiwork. What’s that tell ya?
