Let us go back to the Board of Alderman meeting from Tuesday. The retirement payouts for the employees of the town are being paid for by the citizens. Now the city has an audit coming to make sure their funds comply with state law… They are also going to check to see if money that the city receives is being put in the general fund and being used for its intended purpose.
