(Hour 2c) In lieu of the recent terrorist attack in Paris, France, James Patrick Riley of Courage, NH called in with a book review of “White Gold,” by Giles Milton.
The book tells the story of a Cornish cabin boy named Thomas Pellow and fifty-one of his comrades captured at sea by the Barbary corsairs in the summer of 1716.
It also chronicles years of Islamic cruelty against Christianity and over one million white slaves from France, Spain, England and Italy.
