The Manchester Police Department would like to advise you that the NH Fishercats Turkey Trot will cause road closures and traffic delays in the Millyard and on Granite Street on Thursday, November 27th from approximately 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
The race will leave the right field corner of Fishercats Stadium, head north through the Millyard via Canal St and return south through Commercial St. South bound traffic will not be allowed on Commercial St or on Canal St from Brook St to Granite St during the race.
Since the race is crossing Granite St twice it will cause traffic to be diverted from traveling east or west on Granite St. The Bridge St Bridge, Amoskeag Bridge, Queen City Bridge and Rte 293 can all be used as viable alternatives in crossing the Merrimack River.
North/ South bound traffic can use Elm St, or any street east of Elm St, as alternatives to Canal St and Commercial St.
If you have business in the Millyard during the time of the race please be patient and gain the attention of one of the Detail Officers to explain your situation. They will assist you if possible, giving priority to the safety of the race participants.
This race is hosted by Millennium Running and the NH Fishercats. Visit Fisher Cats Thanksgiving 5K for more information.
