Dear Neighbor,
My name is Jerry Bergevin. I served as your State Representative 2011-2012. I am running again in 2014 and am writing to introduce myself.
Bergevin: Stumping for votes
I am a Pro Life Christian who supports Traditional Marriage between one Man & one Woman.
I voted in 2011 to balance the NH State Budget & I do not support a Sales or Income Tax.
I believe in cutting taxes on businesses so they may hire more employees.
I believe in small limited government with low taxes and regulations because this is what keeps you Free and the money you earn in your own pocket & not in the hands of the Concord Politicians for their own unlimited agenda’s.
I believe in the original intent view that our founders had when they wrote our state constitution. State government works best when it does just a few things and when officials accomplish this state government works brilliantly.
As a legislator I will seek to write and vote on legislation that secures justice tempered with mercy so that legislation may be a solution to the problems facing our citizens and not a burden.
In 2012 Cornerstone Policy Research named Jerry E. Bergevin one of 30 State Representatives as “Heroes for the Family”.
I was listed in 2011-2012 Cornerstone Scorecard as a legislator who scored 100% on Cornerstones key issues. Cornerstone’s Families First Pledge was designed to distinguish which state candidates for the 2012 election would promise to advance bills that preserve citizens’ rights of conscience and religion, protect innocent human life, defend the natural family and traditional marriage, restore the natural rights of parents to raise, educate and care for their own children, and enact free market economic policies to ensure prosperity in New Hampshire. My record: 100%!
I have applied the words of our Founding Fathers in the Declaration of Independence to my personal campaign pledge:
I Jerry Bergevin, as your candidate will when elected vote on all legislation through the following guidelines: Protecting Life, your Liberties, and your Pursuit of Happiness through Economic Prosperity.
I believe the powers of state government should be restrained so that your right to Worship God according to the dictates of your own conscience may not be infringed.
