(Hour 2c) Courtney Hoppe shared a scary assortment of weekend destination ideas in this week’s edition of Out! From family fun to frightful festivities, Hoppe covered the gamut:
– Take a fall foliage cruise on the M/S Mt. Washington thru 10/19. Cruises depart Weirs Beach daily at 10am and 12.30pm, Alton Bay on Sundays at 11.15am, and Wolfboro from Monday to Saturday at 11.15am. There is also a dinner cruise option that departs from Weirs Beach on Sundays at 5pm (thru 10/12).
– Or take a fall foliage tour via helicopter with Seacoast Helicopters. Tours start at $59/person.
– Charmingfare Farm in Candia is featuring a Pumpkin Festival thru 10/13. They also offer hayrides and a petting zoo.
– Chunky’s in Nashua is running a HorrorFest on Thursdays at 7.30pm and Fridays at 10pm. Upcoming films include Shaun of the Dead, Silence of the Lambs, and the Exorcist. On Wednesday, 10/15 at 12pm, they are featuring Psycho as the “Senior Movie” (Senior Movies are free to seniors). On Friday, 10/24, they’ll show the famed Rocky Horror Picture Show.
