(Hour 1c) Jim Gaudet got us up to speed on the latest happenings at the Weare Police Department.
Sgt. Joe Kelly (no relation to the Manchester Alderman) has been “unfired” by the Weare PD. Would it have anything to do with Kelly’s looming wrongful termination lawsuit?
Lawsuits are nothing new to the Weare PD. They’ve had 8 of them in the last decade.
Gaudet explained the problems with nuisance lawsuits and the bigger problems with settling them instead of doing the right thing. He also suggested the solution to the Weare PD situation: a thorough housecleaning.
“The culture has to be changed. That Department needs to be gutted.”
