(Hour 3b) The new Mayor of Boston is shaking things up in Boston schools. Sounds great, until you read the entire story.
Senior Fellow Sid Glassner did just that before reading the riot act to Boston teachers that “need to hold the Mayor accountable” for selecting someone with absolutely no educational experience to be the “First Chief of Education.”
Glassner addressed the problems of teachers unions busier about the business of politics than focusing on policies and procedures in education.

(Hour 3c) Glassner called out Time magazine for it’s LONG history of being incorrect in it’s reporting on education. We heard there latest guffaw: a misinformation hit piece on LA Governor Bobby Jindal.
Also, professional development and the inadequacies of people teaching teachers about Common Core.
