(Hour 3b) Senior Fellow Sid Glassner educated us on the origins of the term “Great American Melting Pot.” Glassner believes “Salad Bowl” is a more appropriate description of America.
Sid will be watching the candidates closely this election season. He wants to hear how many questions get asked, and answered, by the folks who seek to represent us.
Glassner will appreciate the discussion, as long as “Danger Words” are not used. Especially in defense of Common Core.

(Hour 3c) Glassner identified, and debunked, a few of the more common Common Core terms. Among them: “State Led,” “College Ready,” Voluntary,” “Transparent,” “Public Participation” and “Raising the Bar.”
Tune in for Glassner’s take.
