(Hour 3b) Lifelong Manchester resident Matt Courchesne joined us to discuss “Helping Our Pupils Excel,” a mentoring program for at risk kids.
HOPE New Hampshire is getting part of the credit for helping Southside Middle School get off of the Priority Schools list. That’s a REALLY big deal.
Courchesne described the program and the seventh-grade students they work with.

(Hour 3c) Courchesne credits the faculty at Southside and Assistant Superintendent David Ryan for their “unbelievable support.”
He and Rich discussed standardized tests, the “crazy time” at Middle Schools and the goals of HOPE New Hampshire, Inc.
