Discussions have begun over expanding the number of offerings of AP classes (alligned to Common Core). They’re emphatic about not lowering the standards to get in but increasing the numbers of students that do get in.
And to encourage AP courses for all.

“…The concept of mixing students of all abilities in a English classroom is
currently being used at Exeter, Concord and Amherst high schools, among
others, she said. If the decision to move forward with this concept at
Winnacunnet is ultimately approved, it would be implemented there at the
start of the 2015-16 school year.”
