(Hour 3a) State Rep. Marilinda Garcia called in from the Congressional Campaign trail. Garcia explained the logic behind her “NO” vote on the bill for Expanded Gambling in Concord. What did she have to say about GOP candidate Gary Lambert’s comments criticizing the House for not passing the bill?
Garcia also cited the “Mess in Mass” as a good example of why NH shouldn’t head in the Casino Gambling direction. “We need to be very careful of changing the entire landscape of NH.”
She also explained the balancing act of understanding what constituents want vs. polling data and the value of keeping her promises.
