(Hour 2b) Helen Dalbeck of NH Audubon is back to celebrate Spring with us in Nature Notes! They’re celebrating their 100th Anniversary and Dalbeck saluted their sponsors.
One of their partners is the Amoskeag Fishways on the Merrimack River in Manchester. It’s prime time at the “Fish Ladder” and Dalbeck discussed their operating hours and two special Events happening on Saturday.
Dalbeck described the many varieties of fish you might spot at the Fishways and shared the great news of two rare species of raptors that have been spotted in the Queen City skies. Although, it’s not such great news for the fish that they eat.
