(Hour 1a, b, Hour 2a) Rich dropped a couple of big bombs on Alderman at Large Joe Kelly Levasseur in lieu of new info about Right to Know requests made at City Hall and an unbelievable OOPS! moment on Joe’s own TV show last night made by Dog Park Friend Jon Hopwood. Did Hopwood let the cat out of the bag on an association Levasseur has publicly denied having (2a)?

My dear JJ, you are mistaken. Girard is not an Alderman. He does not hold an elective office from which he might resign. Just thought you would like to know.

Oh, my! It looks like someone received a thesaurus for Christmas!
Glad to know you’re tuning in, JJ.
It is absolutely delightful to learn that my old friend Hopwood has tripped himself and the rest of his disgusting cabal with his momentary lapse into truthfulness. The very idea that he has accidentally implicated himself, Levasseur and their other bottom-dwelling cohorts in a conspiracy to discredit former Alderman Greazzo in the days prior to the last election is simply delicious. These imbeciles believed that they could steal control of the dog park from the citizens who built it and damage Greazzo’s re-election chances in the bargain. They insisted that they were only concerned citizens looking to stamp out graft, corruption and mismanagement. Levasseur claimed to be looking into the matter solely out of concern for the protection of the taxpayers of our fair city. Could this be yet another “untruth”, to paraphrase the Attorney General? One is left to conclude, based on the recent frenzy of activity displayed by Levasseur, that the soon-to-be-released emails could possibly reveal the depths of this conspiracy and expose once and for all that they engaged in a coordinated attack against Greazzo, a good and decent public servant and defender of Manchester taxpayers. There are many questions yet to be answered: Could it be that these emails will show that Levasseur knowingly lied in public comments concerning his affiliation with the dog park thieves while sitting in his seat in the Aldermanic chamber? Is there punishment for Aldermen who are intentionally “untruthful” while in session before the public? Will the emails show that his “investigation’ into the insurance coverage of the dog park was actually part of a wider plan to discredit Greazzo for no other reason than to sway public opinion against Greazzo and strike at people with whom Levasseur has had a long running grievance? Will the emails show clearly how a Republican elected official conspired with Democrat activists to defeat a fellow Republican? What would the punishment for such transgressions be? One last question: How can Levasseur retain either his elective office or his law license if all of this is true? Thank you, Hopwood! You have proven to be a useful idiot indeed!
