(Hour 2c) Our beloved History Lady, Aurore Eaton, gave us the history of New Year’s Celebrations beginning in ancient Babylon over 4,000 years ago. The Manchester Historic Museum Executive Director chronicled the evolution of New Year’s from the days of Julius Caesar in 46 BC to the celebrations of today. In America and all around the world! Also, a touching poem from 1899 by a local poet/ artist and what we can look forward to at the Millyard Museum in the New Year!
