We’ve got some of the more interesting video from the Hooksett School Board’s December 17, 2013 meeting. Enjoy!
The pounding of board member John Lyscars begins. So many “offended” people! (Note: The “recourse” is an election.)

The meeting ends with a great big bang!
Cindy Holland Gonya It’s a shame to get a nasty email from a public official when you sign a petition as a private citizen or nasty comments when you express an opinion on a public Facebook page also as a private citizen. I’m sure the public officials got a lot worse.

Cindy Holland Gonya When you sign a petition against a public official (such as Mr. Lyscars) you should not get hate emails. You are signing as a private citizen and should have first amendment rights to express your political views against a public official. There are laws being discussed on this subject in our supreme court system. Here is a quote, “On Friday, the justices agreed to enter the divisive dispute and decide whether the names of petition signers must be released under a state public records law or instead must be kept private to protect the signers’ right to engage in political speech and political association.”
