Gatsas Files for Third Term
Manchester Mayor signs up for re-elect with City Clerk
MANCHESTER, NH – – Today Manchester Mayor Theodore L. Gatsas officially filed papers with the Office of the City Clerk to become a candidate for Mayor. “My team is ready to go. For the past several months we have been gearing up and laying the groundwork for a successful campaign. Now it’s time to hit the pavement and bring our record of accomplishments to the voters of Manchester,” Gatsas began.
Gatsas, a lifelong Manchester resident, is running for his third term as Manchester Mayor. “It’s certainly an honor and a privilege to serve as Mayor of the Queen City. Over the course of the past three and a half years we have realized many accomplishments. For city students we worked to make the Manchester School of Technology a full-time technical high school; we increased our compliment of police officers to keep our city safe; we continue to improve city infrastructure which includes the upcoming downtown sidewalk improvement project and in a down economy we continue to realize successful economic development projects in the South Elm and Millyard area,” added Gatsas.
Gatsas was joined by campaign co-Chairman, and former Mayor and Executive Councilor Raymond J. Wieczorek as he filed for office. The filing period for all municipal offices in the City of Manchester begins on Monday, July 8th and ends on Friday, July 19th.
