New Hampshire Powerball Jackpot Jumps to $350 Million for Wednesday’s Drawing;
3rd Largest Powerball Jackpot Ever
CONCORD, N.H. – The jackpot for Wednesday’s New Hampshire Powerball jackpot has jumped to $350 million, the third largest Powerball jackpot ever, after nobody matched all six numbers in Saturday night’s (5/11) drawing. According to lottery officials, this Wednesday’s (5/15) estimated jackpot of $350 million has a one-time cash payout option of $222.8 million. (Estimated jackpot amounts are before taxes.)
More than 11,800 New Hampshire players won more than $66,000 in prize money in Saturday night’s drawing. The numbers drawn on Saturday night were 6-13-19-23-43 PB 16.
The biggest Powerball jackpot ever was won on Nov. 28, 2012 — $587.5 million split by two tickets in Arizona and Missouri.
“Let the Powerball frenzy begin! At $350 million, the Powerball jackpot is now the third highest jackpot in the history of the game,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Lottery. “Ticket sales for last week were nearly $1.4 million, and we expect ticket sales this week to be even higher. It’s been a few years since a New Hampshire player won the Powerball jackpot, so we are ready to celebrate with another local winner! Get out and grab your tickets today!”
Powerball tickets are on sale at over 1,250 retailers in New Hampshire until 9:50 p.m Wednesday night. Tickets cost $2.
