New Hampshire Attorney General Michael A. Delaney and Manchester Police Chief David J. Mara announce that a homicide investigation is ongoing in Manchester today. Manchester Police responded to a 911 call for service at 316 Mammoth Road, Unit 1, at approximately 4:54 this morning. Police discovered the body of a deceased female, identified as Michelle Hogarty (46), at the residence.
John Hogarty (53), Michelle’s husband, has been arrested and charged with one count of First Degree Murder for causing the death of Michelle Hogarty by stabbing her. John Hogarty will be arraigned in the 9th Circuit, Manchester District Court, at 11:00 am tomorrow morning.
The circumstances of Mrs. Hogarty’s death remain under investigation. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow morning in Concord at the Medical Examiner’s Office.
