Five More People Struck by BB Pellets
MANCHESTER, NH- On Tuesday, April 09, 2013, several more people were struck by BB pellets, apparently shot from passing vehicles, as they walked or cycled in several Manchester neighborhoods yesterday afternoon.
The first incident occurred at about 2:50 PM when a 17 year old woman walking in the area of Notre Dame Ave and Kelley Street was struck in the leg by an apparent BB pellet. She believes the she came from a passing vehicle described as a white 4-door sedan operated by a White male waving an “Airsoft” gun with an orange tipped barrel.
Later at about 3:45 PM, two people walking east across the Bridge Street Bridge were struck with pellets shot from a passing vehicle, also traveling east across the Bridge. A 58 year old woman was struck in the upper leg and a 67 year old man walking just ahead of her was struck in the back. The male described the suspect vehicle as an older model white Honda, that is low to the ground.
At about 4:15 PM, a 33 year old woman outside her Cedar Street address reported she had been struck in the left torso area by a pellet that was shot from a passing vehicle, described as a 4-door white sedan occupied by three males 18-20 years of age. The vehicle had a partial registration of NH 336????
At about 4:30 PM, a 55 year old bicyclist traveling south on S. Willow Street across from the Mall of New Hampshire felt a pellet strike his back, where it left a small red welt. He believes the shot came from a passing vehicle but could provide no further description.
Similar incident were reported the previous day and one of these victims also described the suspect vehicle as a small 4-door white vehicle. Two Reports of BB Shots from Passing Vehicles
MANCHESTER, NH- On Monday, April 08, 2013, at about 3:30 PM, Manchester Police responded to the area of Belmont Street and Hanover Street where two young boys had reportedly been shot at with a BB Pistol.
On arrival, Ofc. Jason Torrey met with a 10 year old Belmont Street resident who reported he had been walking home with a friend when a black SUV pulled up along side them at the intersection of Belmont St and Hanover Street. The front female passenger pointed her finger at the boys gesturing a shooting motion. They then saw the rear passenger window go down and a male occupant in th3e back seat point a BB gun out the window, firing at the two boys. Fortunately, neither of the boys were hit by any projectile.
The front passenger was described as white female, 25 years old, with brown hair with light colored streaks. She had freckles on her face and wore a blue short. The male passenger that fired the BB gun is described as a Hispanic Male in his thirties, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark sunglasses.
Later that same day, at about 4:50 PM, Ofc. Din Jenkins was flagged down in the area of Main Street, near West High School where a 44 year old man reported to him that someone in a passing vehicle had fired a BB gun at him, striking him in the back. The man did have a small welt on his back.
He could not describe the two occupants of he vehicle, described as a small 4-door car.
