I, as a parent, was a participant of the YWCA for years as my child was in there after school program. I benefited greatly from the parent night they held once a week. My daughter gained so much from the ladies that worked the program at the time, and they are still part of her life. I am grateful that the YWCA was available for my child as they learned her to believe in her self as well as confidence, respect and self esteem. The program helped me as a single parent in so many ways!
