An Indiana native, David S. Martinez has lived in New Hampshire since 1977.
A 1984 graduate of Manchester High School West, Dave is a former corporate nomad, who worked for various financial, retail and restaurant outlets and also owned and operated DJ’s Deli & Subs until selling it in December, 2008.In 1997, Dave began his career as a professional Disc Jockey. He began hosting a weekly family karaoke show at Milano’s Pizzeria in Nashua, NH.
Within two years, he was working with A Touch of Class Entertainment, of Nashua, NH and Premier Talent Group, of North Reading, MA as a DJ & KJ (Karaoke DJ) hosting karaoke shows and private functions.
By November, 2001, Dave was ready to spread his own wings, and DJ Dave Entertainment was founded. “DJ Dave” has since hosted hundreds of events including weddings, anniversaries, bar and bat mitzvahs, birthdays, retirements, corporate gatherings and outings, holiday parties, block parties, civic functions, and school proms and dances.
And thousands of karaoke shows.
In September, 2010, Dave married his best friend Dianne Healy after a two year courtship, and they currently reside in South Manchester with their Pekingese, Kaiser.
Girard backs Terrio showing that party is more important than principles. Terrio is a Republican who voted against Republicans in the house to limit the powers of unions to collectively bargain. Heck the MEA (the Manchester teachers union) endorsed Terrio. Rich you keep good company with the MEA!
My endorsement of Terrio was pretty clear and it had nothing to do with party. Frankly, I didn’t even know him before he walked into my studio as a guest for teh show. I pushed him hard on that endorsement and a few other premises he seemed to hold and he responded well, answered the questions, and took the info I gave him that he’d not been aware of. So, while the MEA endorsement almost caused me to stay neutral on him, my bet is that he’ll listen and be objective in his assessments. If that proves wrong, I’ll remember, as I always have, and hold him accountable. Thanks for the note and “Nice try!” 🙂
