(Hour 2b) Health Officer Tim Soucy joined us for a brief discussion on “Sustainability” before a discussion on the state of Mental Healthcare in our own backyard. He described facility shortages and a “need for more resources.” Alderman Pat Long called in to bolster Time’s argument: “the budget is NECESSARY and the lack of funding is the problem.” Also discussed was the need to reexamine the issue of Institutionalization.
