The Manchester Police Department has released two announcements regarding weekend events.
First, on Saturday, the department will participate in the National Drug Take Back Day, so residents can drop off unwanted prescription drugs. Here is their announcement:
MANCHESTER, NH-On Saturday, October 26, 2013 the Manchester Police Department, together with the Drug Enforcement Administration, will host the DEA’s National Take Back Day at the New Hampshire National Guard Armory at 771 Canal Street in Manchester, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Anyone wishing to dispose of unwanted, unused or expired prescription medications can bring those drugs to the armory where they can be properly disposed.
