WHAT IS NOT ACCEPTED: Empty containers, latex paint (when air-dried can be safely disposed of

in regular trash), tires, compressed gas cylinders, explosives, ammunition, infectious or biologically active materials and PCB’s (polychlorinated biphenyls).  No commercially-generated waste is accepted.

across the city including the Mayor’s Office, Assessor’s Office, Building Department, City Clerk’s Office, Tax Collector’s Office, Public Works Department, Water Works, Wastewater Treatment Facility, Health Department, the Carpenter Library, and the Amoskeag Fishways.  For further information, please call the Manchester Public Works Department at 603-624-6444.
