For Immediate Release
MANCHESTER, NH July 26, 2021–The mayoral campaign of Manchester Republican Richard Girard released the endorsement of two former state senators, today. Sen. Richard “Dick” Danais and Sen. David Boutin have joined Girard’s efforts to beat Mayor Joyce Craig in the coming elections. Danais represented District 20, which includes Wards 3, 4, 10 & 11. Boutin represented District 16, which includes wards 1, 2 & 12. He also served as a state rep. from Ward 1 and on the Manchester Planning Board.
In announcing the endorsements, Girard thanked both for their service to the city. “Professionally and politically, Dick and Dave have served our city well. They are hardworking, dedicated and conscientious. They had the pulse of their constituencies because they listened and never considered themselves above the voters. They rarely, if ever, ducked difficult issues and, when disagreements arose, remained gentlemanly, not making things personal. It is my honor and pleasure to have their strong support in this campaign.
