(Hour 3bc) Mayor Ted Gatsas came on for an in-depth discussion of Common Core standards and Manchester’s implementation in September. Should the Superintendent of Schools proceed without the School Boards support?
Plus, Dave in Hooksett called in with heated comments regarding HOW our children learn, Gatie in Pinardville called in to comment and tie things to Pinardville and Mike in Manchester called in . Lastly, the Mayor lets us know about all the great things going on in Manchester (like this classic car show over the holiday weekend!).
The solution to Manchester losing $21 million if they reject Common Core is to find out more about the EXEMPTION process that NH DoE Heather Gage talks about. Unfortunately there is no transparency on this exemption process, or much of the rest of this convoluted Common Core reform program.
Does anyone really think that $21 million would be withheld from Manchester School District, given how much they all claim to care about the children?
Very interesting question to Mayor Gatsas at 24:45 min. mark.
Informational text is exactly what is used to indoctrinate.
This Mayor is a joke. He is not taking this seriously at all. He should NOT be voted into office again.
