(Hour 2c) Manchester’s Health Director Tim Soucy joined us for Public Health and Wellness this morning. Tim talked to us about a training institute that was put into place after the anthrax attacks from 2001. He told us about the training and he and Rich shared their thoughts on what kind of issues should be on the radar. Rich asked Tim about the grants that they are receiving and wondered about how and why it’s being allocated. He and Rich then talked about needle exchange and the contribution towards the heroin crisis.
