Road closures in conjunction with Manchester’s many Independence Day festivities, also listed here:
Bridge St from Mammoth Rd to Pine St on July 3rd from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM due to a road race.
Maple St north bound from Hanover St since Maple St will be closed at Bridge St due to the race.
Bridge St Bridge from 8:00 PM to midnight on July 3rd due to the set up and launch of the holiday fireworks display.
Granite St Bridge will have a noticeable increase of traffic due to this event and should probably be avoided as well.
Commercial St on July 3rd from 8:30 PM to 11:00 PM due to the holiday fireworks display.
Commercial St will be limited to pedestrian traffic only from 8:30 PM to 11:00 PM on July 3rd due to the high volume of pedestrians expected in the area and the limited amount of parking spots available in the mill yard.
Handicapped parking for the fireworks will be available in the Bedford St Lot (just north of Spring St).
The City of Manchester, NH will conduct its 2013 Independence Day Celebration at Arms Park on Wednesday, July 3, 2013. The park will close to vehicular traffic at 6:00pm. Commercial Street will be restricted to pedestrians only beginning at 8:00 PM. Entertainment will be provided by the 39th Army Band beginning at approximately 7:30 PM and will play into the beginning of the fireworks. The fireworks display, provided by Atlas PyroVision Productions, will begin at dusk (approximately 9:30 PM). Food and beverage vendors will be available on site beginning at 6:00 PM, but you’re welcome to bring your own. No alcoholoic beverages will be allowed. No pets please, and admission is free.
Both the East and West bound spans of the Notre Dame Bridge (Bridge Street Bridge) will be closed to traffic at 8:00am. The rain date (fireworks only) is scheduled for Friday, July 5, 2013.
