(Hour 3b)
Keith Katsikas, parent of the student at Hallsville School, who was involved with the controversial bullying exercise we have been covering, joins us to tell us about his new organization. The Student and Parents Rights Advocacy Group, or SPRAG, was formed to give parents and students a forum to both get information, and report related issues that concern them, anonymously if they prefer.
What are parents rights exactly? Can schools subject students to material that many would consider objectionable, without informing parents beforehand? Listen in to hear more of Keith and his family’s experience, and how you can help.
We also field a call from State Rep. Victoria Sullivan.
