(Hour 2c)
Tim Soucy, Manchester’s health officer, joined us this morning for our Public Health and Wellness segment! Rich (and his lovely wife Jennifer) was very quick to talk to Tim about the head lice issue. We got a message from an elementary school teacher that alerted us about a bed bug trap that is in place for the issue. Are the same precautions set in place for head lice? Rich and Tim go head to head on this health issue. Listen in to hear the details!
In addition, Tim talked to us about the prevalent heroin issue and how to deal with discarded needles and cooking spoons. Are babies being born addicted to opiates? We tackled that issue as well. To end the segment, Mike Lopez called in to ask Tim about an education piece that is going to be presented at the Palace Theatre. Click here for more on that event.
