Mark Osborne
This segment began with a quick look at the increasing demand for the use of Gill Stadium, and Rich asked the question, “Who will pay for this?”
Then we spoke, at some length, with Derry Town Councilor Mark Osborne, and he gave us more details from the memorable Derry Town Council budget meeting last night.
Councilor Osborne reports no serious attempt was made by the administration to work within reasonable budget limits, and instead appeared to simply rubber stomp the various departments’ demands.
Is Town Administrator Galen Sterns conducting back room meetings with department heads? If so, how does this behavior fulfill the earlier promise the Council made to clear up the perception of impropriety in this process?
