This archive contains a discussion regarding the Office of Civil Rights Report. In it we learned that the report was apparently constructed using old data, and we found out that it excluded Asians from the survey.
Should teachers be recruited from inner city colleges to better represent today’s ethnic diversity?
Is it possible that a predominantly white teaching staff is less able to relate to “students of color,” and vice-versa.
And finally, the single biggest hurdle in education? Socio economic status!
